Rowland walks back and forth, as he ruffles his hair In exasperation, he took mouthful of breathes, trying hard to calm himself, but it was futile, he remembered the love he has always had for his mate, the love and care they have always share for each other, but now his decision is been needed on the front line, for the pack elders are demanding for what he can't give.

He was about to sit down only to meet the concern gaze of Cynthia, his wife and mate, as she stood there, leaning on the door, he felt an unknown calmness, harness into his being as he stared at her, he saw her walk towards him as she sat close to him.

"I know how this is hard for you but you need to calm down" she said soothingly to him.

"I can't Cynthia, the elders are on my neck, if I didn't produce what they want, they'll start to loose hope on the pack, thinking there'll be no future for the pack".He said as he ruffles his hair In dispair.

"I know... Rowland you are not the only one in this, we are in this together".

" I know, but the pack members are giving me nine months, I meant just nine months, to fulfill their desires,am the alpha of this pack, but if don't do what they want I think......" He said in despair as he trial off in his words.

"Please Rowland, don't think too much about this, it'll affect your rationality, it'll also affect your decision making" Cynthia said as he carrese his cheeks.

"I love you too Rowland, so let's Go to bed and get some rest" she said as she stared at the bed with was on the opposite direction of their location, she took a glance at Rowland, as he nod in agreement.

When they eventually lie on the bed, Cynthia turn to the right direction, while Raymond on the left.

Raymond thoughts kept on drifting to the thoughts of what happened yesterday, he tried to sleep but it was futile, due to the bugging thoughts that claimed sound sleep and also denied his slumber, making him sleepless.

Yesterday

It was a sunny day, the day was bright, filled with the blowing wind that soothes the soul, Rowland was watching an interesting series on TV, only to hear a knock from the door,he turned his gaze towards the person who just entered. He immediately stood up when his gaze locked with Aiden, the Delta who has been a trustworthy commander. He was wearing a pair of jeans, matching up with bright blue shirt, he has a pair of dark eyes with plumb lips and a Roman nose, he has a dark hair, with a perfect jawline.

"Hey Aiden, what brought you here on this Sunny day?" He asked as he stared at Aiden, with a blank expression.

" I just came here to tell you, that your presence is required at the pack meeting room" he stated solemnly with his confident expression.

"Okay I'll Soon be there, please give me ten minutes"

"Okay let me go and wait for you with the other pack elders" he said as he took his leave taking steady strides.

Rowland wondered what would have been important to demand for his presence, since today is not a day that usually require a meeting.

He immediately changed to a pair of sweat pants, matching up with a well fitted tee shirt, as he strode gracefully out of his apartment.

When Rowland reached the room where is was designed purposely for the pack meeting, immediately all the pack elders stood up and now bow down In respect. He nod, indicating they should all take their sits which they did, Rowland walk up to his sit as he stared at all the alphas,the elders has always been an alpha. Because Omega were not allowed to join the meeting, for they have always been reconsidered as weak and incapable.

"So what brought about this meeting ?" He said as he stared at Lucas, the one who seem more anxious about the meeting, Immediately Lucas took his gaze to all the alphas which were present there as he said with All seriousness.

"We the elders of the pack, we wanted to ask for a future, a future which we are not sure of...."

"Stop Lucas I know where you are heading to, I have told you several times, that time will tell, you can't literally force the child to come inside my wife's womb, or can you?" Rowland said as he cut Lucas speech.

"We know alpha Rowland, but who'll eventually take over the pack when you are not here?"Darrien asked with All seriousness, Rowland glared him, stirring at his blue eyes which portray his power and courage.

Immediately Rowland took a mouthful of breathe to calm his rage, because he was inwardly boiling with anger.

"So am asking All of you present here, since my wife can not give birth to a child for twenty five years now, due to her medical condition, then what did you want me to do?"

"We came here Alpha Rowland, to tell you we want you to marry another woman, who does not have any medical condition" Jackson interjected.

"Stop the crap, please don't speak more, because I won't reconsider you are one of this pack" Rowland barked with rage evident in his tone.
